Welcome Back!
Ms Heather and Mrs Newmyer hope your Thanksgiving break was filled with fun and good times with family! Welcome back to school!
Students are learning about fractured fairytales with Mrs Newmyer. Students will study a variety of fairytales and the fractured fairytales that go with it. After learning about the structure of the stories, they will then create their own fractured fairytale.
In math, the 4th graders are finishing fractions and decimals. The study guide for Unit 4 will be completed in class on Friday, December 2nd. This will be taken home for review over the weekend. The 5th graders are still working on division, division, division. Students will be working on division with decimals and interpreting remainders. The study guide for Unit 4 will be due on Friday, December 2nd. Students will take home the study guide to review on the weekend for their test on Monday, December 5th.
Multiplication!!! It is becoming very obvious that students are lacking in their multiplication facts. It is very important to continue practicing facts at home. Take five to ten minutes each night to review facts. It is very important |
