Book Orders Due
Scholastic Book Orders are due for Ms. Wendy’s class on Wednesday, January 25.
Ms. Jennifer would like to thank Hailey’s mom (Lindsay McCool) for bringing in several boxes of pencils! She does not need any more at this time.
Ms. Wendy would like to request the following supplies for her classroom:

OCLM Parent Info Night
Tell a Friend to Come See What Our School is About!!
Our Parent Information Night for new, prospective families will be on Monday, January 30 at 6pm. Tell your friends why you love OCLM, pick up a flyer and brochure from the front office and invite them to come hear about our school at the Parent Information Night. If they cannot make it that night, they can still sign up for a tour. Tour dates are as follows (reservations required, please have them call the office 805-495-7058):

 Barnes & Noble Read Aloud Nights!
The summertime’s “Jammy Nights,” in which the younger students hear stories read to them as a group by teachers and guests, have now evolved into “Barnes & Noble Read Aloud Nights” - featuring our upper grade OCLMers reading to our younger ones! Many of the students in Ms. Heather’s 4-5 class have written their own stories which they cannot wait to read to our younger students.

Join us one Friday evening each month for these “Barnes & Noble Read Aloud Nights” and see what magic happens as we watch our older students share their creative stories with our younger ones! It’s what we treasure most at OCLM - the mentoring of students across the grades.
The first “Barnes & Noble Read Aloud Night” will be on February 10 at 6pm, at the Barnes and Noble located in the Westlake Village Promenade, in Westlake Village. Several students from Ms. Heather’s class will be reading stories they created just for this night—so come on out, bring the little ones and see how our “Jammy Nights” have taken on a whole new dimension for our OCLM school year!
The next Restaurant Night Fundraiser will be next Thursday, Feb. 2 at Jersey Mike’s (located at 3825 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, Westlake Village). You can eat there all day (10am-9pm) and if you bring the flyer, 15% of the proceeds will go to help support our specialists (Art, Music, etc). Please come out to eat that night and support our school!!!
Jersey Mike’s Restaurant Day—Lunch Option
Our next Conejo Elementary School Jersey Mike Fundraiser is Thursday, Feb. 2. If you would like to order your child a Box Lunch, it will be delivered to him/her at lunch time. Please complete this order form (or email order to Kelly or Lindsay) by Wednesday, November 30.
